Talisker 18 Year Old is the only single malt Scotch whisky produced on the Isle of Skye, beside the shore of Loch Harport, in the jagged shadow of the Cuillin peaks.
Founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill, the Talisker distillery remains true to traditional values. One hundred and eighty years of knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation by distillers.
The result is this highly regarded whiskey, described by the famous Scottish poet Robert Louis Stevenson as “the king of drinks.”

Distilled in 1995, Talisker 18 Years Old embodies the distillery’s characteristics in a referential way while offering a highly complex sensory experience. It is balanced and spicy, with classic peaty notes; it is an absolute quality product.

Deep amber in color, the nose is clean and fresh with a perfect balance of “smoky” peat, wood and notes of grapes and spices. The palate is dense, full-bodied and rich, with spicy and tangy notes, coffee beans and wood smoke. The finish is long and dry with a woody, peppery aftertaste.

Great with a grilled tuna steak, with or without a drop of water.
