Made from the prized meats of the Vacca Bianca Modenese (White Cow of Modena) and the Razza Suina Romagnola (Romagnola Swine Breed), Amerigo’s Pantry ragout encompasses the finest meats and ingredients to bring great quality to your tables.

The choice of combining two different cuts of meat was made to enhance the characteristics of both species. In common they have the characteristic of being protected by the relevant consortia because of the continuous decrease in specimens. As of today, in fact, there are projects aimed at the enhancement of this animal and its protection.

They also have the breeding area in common: in fact, the Vacca Bianca is characteristic of the territory of the province of Modena, while the Razza Romagnola to date is bred in a wider territory, especially in the provinces of Ravenna, Forlì, Bologna, and Modena.

To further enhance the flavor of the already delicious meat, we add tomatoes from Emilia Romagna and Cervia sea salt to our ragout.

It is ideal to accompany fresh noodles. 200g of product is enough for 2/3 servings. When the pasta is cooked, pour it into the pan and toss it quickly. Serve it with a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients: tomato puree, “white Modenese” beef 30.9 percent, “Mora Romagnola” pork 15.5 percent, extra virgin olive oil, double tomato paste, carrots, golden onion from Medicina, celery, prosciutto crudo (pork, salt), Cervia sea salt.
